Product Description:

Balance® – "Balance® is the Banquet Industry's best friend!" The Balance® software system enables each property to schedule any number of wait staff for any event, on any day, at any time, and to accurately manage the wages and service charges for each of those events. Balance® calculates payroll based upon business rules that are unique to each property and virtually eliminates fraud and human error. Service charge distribution rules and formulas are customized for each property, as well as labor union fees and room rental (if applicable). Balance® creates reports that detail the service charge distributions that eliminate friction between management, employees, and labor union representatives. More info...

Here are a few of the custom applications we have specifically designed for some of our clients:

Product Description:

Quote Generation System – This application creates quotes using pricing/part number data from SAP and includes graphics. Each quote can also have a set of specification documents that are stored/printed/archived with each quote. Also supports versioning of the quotes and a wide variety of reports.
Product Descriptions:

SmartSell – This application tracks all prospect data for every community within Mignatti companies (creates HTML emails, notes, reports, contracts). Creates all the contracts (reservations, contingent, non-contingent) for every lot within every community. Once a contract is signed, the prospects can also select all their options for the house selected. Once a lot is closed there is a Conveyance area that reconciles the lot against all entries on the HUD statement. Over 80 reports. This application has been running for over a decade and will probably continue to run for another decade.

BuildSmart – This is the back office and brother application to SmartSell. This is where all the contracts for all the trades that are responsible for building a house are stored. You can have multiple contracts per trade and they can be categorized as primary and secondary. The Takeoffs (every stick, nail, window, flooring material) are managed and priced. Options are organized and priced on multiple business rules. This application ties directly into their Great Plains accounting system and has been in use for over 13 years. There are over 60 house types with over 200,000 options.

Proforma Model – This application pulls data from SmartSell, BuildSmart and Great Plains to build the quarterly Excel Proforma Model. A model is created for each community and is based on actuals and forecasted data. This has to be one of the most complex data models BSI has ever built.

Between the above Mignatti applications, there are about 250,000 lines of code in the front end and about 50,000 lines of code in SQL Server. The data is spread across 200 tables.

PINT (Patient Insurance Lein & Tracking) – This application tracks patient/accident data received from hospitals.  This data is used to manage repayment from insurance companies.
